RAPID Therapists use a a combination of hands on palpation, examination, and treatment. The RAPID provider palpates the tissues with her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Hypersensitive areas are treated by combining precisely directed depth,  tension with very specific patient movements.

Deep Tissue Massage works by physically breaking down adhesion's, targeting trigger points, realigning deeper layers of the muscles and flushing metabolic waste contributing to painful conditions. Recommended for those with chronic pain conditions, injuries, muscle tension, spasms, repetitive strain injuries and arthritis pain, just to name a few. 

Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy that encourages healing by creating a negative pressure or suction on the skin using plastic cups that pull up tissues, blood, and other fluids close to the surface of the skin. This technique is great for chronic tension, knots, trigger points working to relieve tension fast and effectively and are often incorporated into other therepuetic massage practices. Cupping procedures may leave light to dark marks on the skin that fade between 5-10 days.

Massage Therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful choice for expecting and post natal mothers from conception up to 4 yrs post pregnancy. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Typically prenatal Massage is done side lying with support pillows making it comfy for expecting mothers to relax and feel relief from the many normal discomforts experienced during and post pregnancy, such as back aches, stiff necks, leg cramps, headaches and swelling.

The Raindrop Technique is an extremely gentle and relaxing massage that incorporates a sequence of Essential Oils. Swedish Relaxation Massage focusses on relaxing the whole body and quieting the mind. Techniques are designed to relieve minor tension using gliding strokes kneading, myofacial release and gentle stretching to assist in flushing metabolic waste that contributes to muscle aches and pains. This treatment is not only offered for children as we prefer to apply other modalities for adults.
